  2. Invitation to feature Wicka: The Chronicles of Elizabeth Blake with the Post Apocalyptic Book Club, a journey through magic, love, and hidden destinies

    Hi Christy,

From the moment I read the description of Wicka: The Chronicles of Elizabeth Blake, I was drawn into the quiet intensity of Elizabeth’s world, where loss, discovery, and magic intertwine in a way that feels both intimate and vast. There is something deeply enchanting in how you give her the courage to navigate grief while stepping into an extraordinary destiny, and the tension of her life being both ordinary and spellbound lingers in the imagination long after reading.

What resonated most was the way you explore identity and belonging, and the courage it takes to embrace a truth that the world around you fears. Elizabeth’s awakening as a witch from an ancient lineage, her first encounters with love, and the perils that shadow her path create a story that is both thrilling and profoundly human. The weaving of magic and interpersonal relationships gives your narrative a richness that invites readers to reflect on the delicate balance between power, vulnerability, and choice.

I help organize the Post Apocalyptic Book Club here in Toronto, a literary community of nearly 3,000 readers and writers who meet each month to explore stories that illuminate imagination, resilience, and the human spirit. Our members are drawn to narratives that transport, challenge, and linger, and a story like Wicka naturally sparks reflection, discussion, and curiosity. The unique magic and intricate relationships in your book would invite our readers to dive deeply into both the story and the questions it evokes.

It would be a joy to invite you to feature your book with us as one of our upcoming monthly reads. Our approach is gentle, author-centered, and entirely flexible, with no expectations beyond thoughtful engagement.

If it would be helpful, I would be glad to walk you through how our features work. We only explore the details after there has been real conversation and mutual interest, ensuring everything is approached with care and transparency.

Your story captures the thrill of discovering hidden truths, the beauty of first love, and the courage of stepping into an unexpected destiny. Sharing it with our readers would be an honor, and I know it would ignite the kind of wonder and thoughtful conversation that makes our community so alive.

    With warm regards,
    Leila

  3. Hi Christy,

I noticed that many authors have strong engagement on Goodreads, but that feedback isn’t always positioned effectively on Amazon, where readers actually decide to buy.

This often means valuable social proof isn’t fully working in your favor.

I help authors bridge that gap by restructuring and highlighting their best reader feedback so it appears as clear, persuasive editorial-style content on Amazon, improving trust and conversion.

I also guide active Goodreads readers to share their reviews on Amazon, ensuring your strongest feedback shows up where it matters most.

If you’d like, I can do a quick audit of your book and show you exactly where your Goodreads and Amazon presence may be misaligned, and what small changes could improve visibility and reader confidence.

Just send over your links if you’re interested.

  4. Hi Christy,

    I hope you’re doing well.

My name is Dorcas. I recently found Wicka: The Chronicles of Elizabeth Blake while exploring books in the young adult paranormal fantasy and witch lore space, and it quickly drew me in.

What stood out to me was the way the book blends a grounded, relatable coming-of-age story with a genuinely original mythology. Elizabeth’s journey from a socially introverted teen mourning a loss to discovering she’s the heir to a legend the Elders fear most gives the magic real emotional stakes. Layer in the love, jealousy, and betrayal, and it’s easy to see why readers are already drawing comparisons to Twilight and Harry Potter. That combination of fresh witch lore and compelling interpersonal drama makes it a strong fit for both YA readers and adult fans of the genre.

I work with authors to improve book visibility, and while looking at how Wicka is positioned on Amazon and Goodreads, I noticed a couple of things that may be worth your attention.

On Goodreads, the book isn’t appearing on several lists where readers interested in YA paranormal romance, witch fiction, and magical coming-of-age stories often discover new titles. As a result, it may be missing exposure to audiences actively searching for books in this space. On Amazon, the book’s strongest discovery points its witch lore, the love-and-danger romance angle, and its crossover appeal to Twilight and Harry Potter fans aren’t fully reflected in the current category positioning, which could limit its visibility in more specific searches.

The good news is that these are practical issues that can be improved, making it easier for the right readers to discover the book.

Would you be open to a brief conversation about it?
